Cat like to take shower
Why does my cat love to take showers?
There are actually several breeds of cat that like water. It’s a lot of fun, and can feel really good, especially if the environment is too warm and/or dry. Why do kids and dogs like water? It’s the same kind of thing.
Cat breeds that like water:
Norwegian Forest Cat
Turkish Van
Turkish Angora
Savannah
Bengal
Japanese Bobtail
American Bobtail
Manx
Abyssinian
Maine Coon
Not all kitties in the above breeds like water, and some individual cats from other breeds like water as well. When I see a cat playing in the water, fascinated by the fluid dynamics, it just makes me feel more strongly that they’re nature’s little physicists.
