Hey guys I’m just a girl who doesn’t let her disorders and disabilities slow her down! I am brand new service dog handler and have finally found my new best friend and freedom!

I’m so happy to start this channel and make really awesome videos! While spreading awareness for service animals.

My service dog in training is a black with white markings pit bull mix! She’s very sweet and is doing great with her training. I am owner training her myself with the assistance of professional trainers!

I am a dog trainer & I love what I do! I have worked with many dogs over the years but this is my first time training a service dog!

  1. Pitbulls are nice. I hope it works out for you as a service dog. I would prefer gun dogs as an SD. They have a natural retrieve and do well when sitting for long periods of time for the hunter, I mean handler ;). That's why the fab picks are labs, goldens, and poodles. I wouldn't personally pick a pitbull only because the pittbull is bred to have a high-prey drive. Many terriers have worked as ratters and vermin killers (that's where the bite, hold, and shake comes into play). Pitbulls still fall under that terrier group. They have baited bears and animals for centuries and although they have an impeccable relationship with man, sometimes the relationships pitbulls have with other dogs or small animals can have consequence.

    It takes a strong, dedicated, and well educated owner to make sure a pitbull is safe around other dogs and small animals. I feel you will do great because you seem like the type to never stop learning. Can't wait to see your progress.
