We got to the San Gorgonio/Vivian Creek trailhead this morning at 5:30 and were super excited to be the first ones there. After gaining about 1000ft in elevation, we realized that we hadn’t rolled up one of the car windows and had to make the painful decision of turning around to save it from theft/bears. It also meant no summit today since we would have lost a full 3 hours and risked hiking down in the dark. 😭 <- How I feel right now. Things happen but we're still grateful for the beautiful sunrise hike. Plus this little dude still had a blast. (25% of San G still counts towards the #52hikechallenge right?!)
