It took me 4 years after all my dogs past within a few months of each other before I was ready to adopt. I swore then never to have another dog again because it was so painful. Then the pain of not having that unconditional love each day began to grow. I am so glad you are adopting a puppy. It will be fun watching and gleening all your puppy experience. The Universe just lets you know when it’s the right choice at the right time. I feel the same about my one-third heeler pup (who is ALL heeler in her behavior—both her parents were heeler mixes). She was 11.11 (angel wings) pounds at 11 weeks when we picked her up. She’s almost 6 months now, and still a little angel…with fangs. Because heeler. 😆. Can’t wait to see you with your new little heeler angel. It’s going to be totally fun and comforting to see your little guy go through the puppy stages that mine has just gone through.

Excited for you! We are picking up our two puppies on the 18th of September. We are so freaking excited. We are getting a red and a blue! Wooohooo! This will be our second time having cattle dogs. It's been 3 years. We are ready for this challenge 🙂
I totally understand not wanting to let a dog see that you're stressed/nervous, seeing as they're so in tune with our body language. I try to appear as zen as I can around my puppy, and he's pretty chill so hopefully it's working. And it might be a case of 'fake it til you make it', because I actually feel more calm now too.
It’s so nice to see that smile on your face again! The very best tribute you can give to your boys who passed is to open your heart to another pup when your heart tells you it’s time. It’s time! 💕😊
Wow… That's an amazing video! The dreams you had and the Cardinals who showed up when you were talking to Lu were signs from Lucien who was visiting you in your dreams and guiding you to find him again… so you could bring him home to you again! I really think Sully is Lucien returned to you in a new Puppy body! I'm so thrilled for you because I know he's going to Heal/Heel your heart! 💜💕💜

I have a 15 month red heeler when I give him a toy or bed to sleep in he tears it up in about 5 minutes what can I do ?
Our little heeler mix healed our hearts after we lost our senior pup in March 2020. I am so excited for you to bring home your sweet little pup!!
