If you have a family full of kids or you just welcomed a new born into this world – It can seem challenging to pick the perfect dog breed.
Of course, pretty much every dog loves children… But this would be a territory where a Labrador or Golden Retriever could come into play.
If a Labrador is too big for you though there is another undisputed breed that is perfect for children. In the UK they are even called “the true nanny dog”.
It’s the staffordshire bull terrier – a highly energetic dog breed that is very gentle to kids.
Keep in mind though, that due to their energetic nature they need daily activities to keep their muscles pumped.
