This channel is a snapshot of my life with my Giant and beautiful Borzoi Dog, Arlo. Angie Rival and Arlo the Borzoi dog have many adventures. Arlo is a GIANT breed dog, he is a Purebred Borzoi, aka Russian Wolfhound. He is a Sighthound. He has a fine pedigree, however he is not for show. Arlo and I spend our time as ‘bush bashing river rats’. We have fun with lots of other dogs and sometimes fascinating creatures. We live in South Eastern NSW in Australia and in this area we experience all seasons.. Scorching hot summers, sub zero nights in Winter and beautiful crisp Spring and Autumn days.. Arlo seems rightfully suspicious of water that advances then retreats. He likes proper, predictable river water! It, at least, won't sneakily pursue a little boy! He's shown himself to be wise beyond his years. That really is a gorgeous beach–the shore curving away made for a lovely view.
My favorite sight was Arlo's wet and suddenly tiny paws. So delicate for a giant dog. Thanks, Angie and Arlo, you had a beautiful Christmas Eve! 🐾🐾🌹🇦🇺

Looks like lots of fun!! How did you train Arlo to stay near you while off leash? I heard sighthounds have a very strong prey drive!
