  1. If you ever wondered if this is the best dog. Just look at the comments compared to other similar videos. This is the only bread that has OWNERS commenting on the videos lol.

  2. AHHH I HAVE ONE CALL FRANK! He’s crossed with a jack Russel and that’s why his snout is longer than usual staffies! He is amazing and he showers me with love! That’s why we give him some turkey, chicken and beef bites for Christmas! (He opens the wrapping paper himself with his paws, it’s the cutest thing ever.)

  3. They were not bred for nobility from the start, they were bred for dog fighting and bull baiting in the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century in England until those “sports” got banned in 1930. They were known for being very aggressive towards dogs but very friendly to people and that’s what they’ve been bred for ever since. In the beginning of breeding good family pets all dogs with aggressive tendencies were put down.

  4. I want one soo bad. A blue one with blue eyes. We had a chihuahua which passed 2 years ago because I had one growing up. My husband always wanted one as he had one in childhood. We have a 5 year old is old enough and wants a dog too. We want to be able to have a family dog we can take to the beach.

  5. They are extremely hardy dogs. I think this comes from the English Bull Terrier – who feels almost no pain. Our friends had one who jumped into a knitting basket and was walking around with a knitting needle stuck through her. Missed vital organs – some muscle damage but fully recovered. We have a 4 month old black brindle very similar to yours.

  6. They have a bad reputation in England for being aggressive but mine is the sweetest natured dog you're likely to meet.

  7. Sorry but I have to disagree with one comment that the English staffie is the smallest big dog, our 6 pound Chihuahua thinks he's as big as our 130 pound French mastiffpitboxer mix. 😂😂 he rules the house. He can hear an ant walking down the street 2 blocks away. However with everything else you said. Totally agree. English staffies are awesome dog's.

  8. Lost ours 2 yrs ago🙏my precious Sky. Thank you for being my friend, for all your Love and big♥️so glad I held you at the end🥲

  9. As a pup have be ready for ownership of a land shark mine is 9 weeks and I am full off holes she is a little rhino comes charging With jaws chomping part from that best dog ever

  10. Actually they were bred for bull fighting and badger baiting. The Staffordshire bull terrier first appeared in 1938 , strong willed and protective and very powerful and with lock jaw . Staffordshire bull terriers and American bullies and pit bulls and cross’s are great family pets too and will protect their family and homes no matter what. They do love people and children hence the nickname Nanny dog. Also used in the police .

  11. ☝🏻My Amstaffy is my service dog🤗…💁🏻‍♀️ I chose her based on size and she has discovered first my non-epileltic seizures, then diabetes.
🐶My girl will steal you brussel sprouts right off your plate with you looking straight at you as she is taking them❣

  12. I am certain I have an Irish staffie ,to tall and to heavy to be an English staffie looks just like the APBT but the short nose ,16 months old 52 pounds she's a rescue and fearless and man can she jump

  13. My family's staffy (eli) lived to 19 years and would get out of our farm
And chase wombats and come back all cut up and bleeding then go aleep till sje felt better like 2 weeks later then do it again

    The greatest dogs

  14. I think you may be may be off regarding the price of a staffy just now.
Enough shortsighted assholes who acquired dogs during covid have begun with the predictable dumping and abandoning, that many bully dog shelters are overfilling.
I got my pup from a rescue service out of Texas.
She was next in line for euthanasia.
What a loss that would have been! She's so gorgeous & sweet & bright.
Please check out shelters and rescue programs.
There's a ray of sunshine out there waiting!
