      They also have webbed paws! They are very slobbery. And also, about being protective, once, when I was about 8, my grandparent's newfoundlands had "protected" me from the mailman, all curled up and blocking me from him.

      I have a 9 month old Landseer Newfoundland. Ichinojo loves to swim in the beach near my house and when I took him up to Scotland he jumped right into Loch Ness.

      I think Newfoundland is the only big dog not for livestock.Otherwise Mastiff , Alabai , Kangal are can fight against wolf 🧐

      Come on guy. Ur American. Use imperial. I’ve got no idea how big this dog is bc now I gotta go use a conversion tool and I’m American. So I’m lazy. And I’d rather spend the time that I should’ve spent converting metric to imperial complaining about said conversion.

      I had a newfy named "OSO" (stands for "bear" in spanish) back in 2001, never been able to find onether one due to its rarety here in San Antonio Tx. It was a very sweet & loyal doggy. 😢

      Smartest and sweetest dogs. I've had a lot of sweet dogs, but my newfies were the only ones that are able to find a child in a crowd who's having a bad day and single them out and change their mood.
