      We've had this cat for a few months now, and, thanks to your video, have realised that she is not a Bengal but an Egyptian Mau. How come she was found as a kitten in a supermarket car park twelve years ago? She's happy now.

      I have this cat for 7 years now, she was a stray, she looks just like an Egyptian Mau except she has marbling as opposed to spots. For the longest time I thought she was a Bengal but she has that flap of extra skin from her belly to her hind legs and she's super affectionate and she chortle and trills all day long. I'm really beginning to think she's part Egytian Mau. I read a while back that when they were breeding for The Bengals they did utilize Egyptian Maus at some point in that line, so this confusion make sense in a way. Thank you for such a thorough video!

      I FOUND MY CHITO, DOWN IN THE GARAGE CRYING FOR HELP, HE TRAP INSIDE THE BIG PIPE OF WATER ,I HEARD HIS VOICE AND SAVE HIM..AND WHEN I SAW HIM HE STILL A BABY MAYBE AROUND 2 1/2 MONTHS, VERY TINY AND THIN, NOW HE GROWING FAST HES ,4 MONTHS NOW, VERY ACTIVE, AND SWEET AND BEAUTIFUL EGYPTIAN MAU, .THANK U AND GOD BLESS..

      Who may advise? Will Egyptian Mau be a good company to RagaMuffin if taken at the same time and age? My previous cat was result of “an accident”- a mix of Bombay & Egyptian. He was the best Cat ever and more Mau than Bombay. Since then, I love this breed. Now I’ve got granddaughter. That’s why RagaMuffin but he needs a boyfriend since I’m not always at home.

      I have a Mau. Her name is Wisp. Somebody left her outside in winter in a box as a kitten. She is amazing. We adopted another rescue kitten last year. Hes a Norwegian forest cat! They are the best play buddies. Both are tough, fast and love to grapple! Fun for the whole family! 😺

      my 2 are everything the vid says and more! More should be said on how naughty they can also be, haha! best cats ever, if you don't mind house plants, butter dishes, wine glasses, ear buds, and tv remotes going missing or being broken. Wonderful breed.

      I’m told my cat is a Mua but she doesn’t have spots just strips. Everything else seems to be the same. She set on my shoulder or the back of my wheelchair. She’s very smart and crazy fast. She also have the extra skin on he hind legs. Can you give me any information that might help me to know if she’s a Mua. Thanks

      I am from western part of India & most feral cats I see here are egyptian mau cats & they are lovely. They have been around forever & they don't seem exotic to us.

      I just discovered my cat is an Mau, she was a gift from a friend. I was curious about how ancient Egyptian cats looked like and found all pics resembling my cat. She has all the traits of the Mau, like… All of them haha and now I know why is she so faaaast even from a young age. My dad is a vet and he noted how fast she is. Gladly Egyptian ancient culture is my favorite of them all. May Ra bless my little Shrodinguer.

      My Sister had one She was fast, super smart figured out how to open doors, turn the faucets on, she would also knock on the Door, Sit in the Window & Growl at Passers by, she once attacked my Sisters Husband when he was fighting with Her. My Sister was this Cat’s entire World & She Her’s when my Sister was pregnant she would cuddle next to her Purr, Knead and Meow at her Belly. 22 years after this Cat Passed away no matter where my sister Lives she always has Her Photo on the Wall. I didn’t even like Cats before her but after meeting her precious & beautiful Ashley I’ve been an absolute Cat Person!

      I have a silver/black 3 year old female Zema. She has bonded to family but especially to me.. Bottom of paws black, gooseberry (green/ yellow) eyes with a black lining around eyes. I say she has mascara around her eyes. Only domestic cat with natural occurring spots, not through breeding process of catteries. Loves to lay on my bed and stretch. She is my baby girl.

      Mine was free!! She was born with a defect I helped correct and I got quite attached to her so the breeder said I could have her 🙂 I wasn’t a cat person but she is PERFECT and Egyptian maus are definitely my favourite breed. They’re active, affectionate and loving when you bond with them!!

      We have 4 – silvers and 2 smokes. They are the best cats ever! My older 2 are littermates, and they are very cuddly. They will be 16 next week. The other two are 4 and 2 years old.

      Egyptian Mau & Maine Coon . Her name is Jackie. She is 6 months old and I noticed she like gives love bites and she hardly sleeps. My question how many hours of sleep do they get? How long does it them to stop teething? I really enjoyed her.
