      I have two dobies. 1 chocolate boy who is 6 years old, and a 1 year old female who is Black and Tan. She is a lot of work compared to my boy. Over the last year my boy is more protective, when he is out with me, anyone coming towards us on the same side, and he is watching every move and if they get to close, he starts barking and pulling. My female is just happy to meet everyone and say hi. She is a lot more outgoing and friendly, where as my boy is not interested in meeting others, he will stand there if I’m chatting to people he recognise on he’s walk. Lovely dogs.

      I got my first puppy a few months ago. They said she was rottweiler/lab mix but she's looking and behaving like a doberman/rottweiler. She can jump so high already! She will run for days! I love it.

      Great guard and watch dog!!! I’ve had a Dobermans since the age of 8 years old and I’m 45 now and can really and truly say this breed is phenomenal. Very intelligent, athletic, smart, aware of it’s surroundings and not scared of anything. One advice best kept in pairs, they can handle 4-6 people easily.

      Dobermans are the best looking dogs ever! I had two Dobermans a female and a male, both passed away from Wobbler's Disease. My male lived to be 15 years old and passed away this year ( 1 month ago) and my female was 9 years old, passed away last year. I was so heartbroken when they both passed but experiencing the same disease in both dogs was devastating. Never thought I would experience this disease twice in both of my dogs. The passing of my big boy recently is too much and am going to wait for awhile before I get another dog. I love Dobermans so much I want to get a black one but afraid of the dog being stricken with this Wobbler's disease again. Either way, I may decide to get another breed but love the Doberman breed. I am rushing, will take my time on this. I am looking at the Boerbels, Bull mastiff, Rottweiler or just a border collie. Not sure.

      I’ve had a Doberman, a Rottweiler and a Bouvier Des Flandres. All excellent dogs. All very capable protectors. The challenge is finding excellent breeders

      AN ABSOLUTE BLESSING EVERY MINUTE OF EACH DAY, TO HAVE HAD 2 BEAUTIFULL DOBERMANS WHO ENRICHED MY LIFE NO END , AND ALSO ALL THE HUNDREDS OF OTHER PEOPLE MY DOGS MET IN LIFE EACH DAY WHILE OUT AND ABOUT WALKING , BE IT ON THERE HOLIDAYS, WORK FREE WEEKENDS ETC , THE JOY AND THE FUN AND THE LOVE AND HAPPINESS AND ENJOYMENT THEY BRING TO YOUR LIFE IS WITHOUT LIMITS … FOR MYSELF IT WAS A COMPLETE AND UTTER PRIVILEGE TO HAVE HAD THE PRESCENCE OF THESE GORGEOUS SUPER INTELIGENT ANIMALS IN MY LIFE WHO TRUST YOU ! LOVE YOU BACK ! JUST SO UNCONDITIONALY….
