Dobermans aren’t aggressive at all, they might look like that when they are on guarding duty and have found a real threat to you or your property. Besides this, they might have sometimes tough behaviors if they been abused in the past or are anxious. But portraying them as aggressive is a big misconception.

  1. how Dobermans are portrayed: “RIP AND TEAR UNTIL IS DONE RIP AND TEAR UNTIL IS DINE RIP AND TEAR UNTIL IS DINE RIP AND TEAR UNTIL IS DONE R”

my doberman: “there a postyman up our door hlep me TwT”

  2. HINT: I had dobermans for 45 yrs. I wd NOT walk into any yard or house that had a doberman UNLESS the owner is there and im properly introduced. ALL my dobermans guarded the house/property properly when the doorbell rang or a stranger approached. dont portray them as cuddly goofy etc, ! properly bred, they can b dangerous; theyre only cuddly with their own family, and ok with others when properly introduced.

  3. A dog is a dog, no matter the size or looks.
Hell.. a fuckin' chihuahua is one of the smallest and most aggressive and loudest dogs you can find

  4. I have a Doberman sand he loves me…I’m a teen girl that lives alone cuz my parents are in Germany and my dog is my best friend! One time someone tries to break into my house and the dog ran away after him!My Doberman bit him and the person fell on the floor after that I called the cops and everything was done! This dog saved my life!

  5. The one we had would protect us with his life. I was walking him in a subdivision when we walked next to a fenced in yard with a Rottweiler in it. My Doberman got between that Rott and myself. I tried everything I could to stay between the two but Jaxon wasn't having it. He was such a good boy that is missed everyday. He passed July 20 ,2011 at 13.5 yr old.

  6. If you knock on our door he sounds aggressive, if you open the door he looks aggressive and if you come in without us he's gonna be agressive!! Otherwise he's my 100lb lap baby.

  7. I either want a Doberman or a Rottweiler at some point, but they require a lot of training.

For now, I'll stick to getting another lab to go alongside my lab x collie female in the next couple of months as my recent male took a fatal tumble down the stairs. He was such a well behaved dog too and hadn't experienced much in life at only 5 months old.

  8. What a shame. Glorious looking dog. Then an idiot owner does the pointless thing of cruelty cropping his ears. Absolutely if no benefit to the animal whatsoever. Only the vanity of one dumb owner
