I've owned a few and they aren't good with children, I wouldn't trust this dog alone around any child alone
Plus they stink, so need lots of grooming.
I loved my Oreo so much and she was gorgeous. She passed in 2018 at the age of 16. Very food motivated but hilarious. Also multi colored cocker spaniel coats get patterns that can only seen when longer called "feathers"

We had one when I was a kid. As youngest in family, every time I went near mum, the damned thing would bite me – he was given away. Now have a sproodle sprinter x poodle, lovely dog

You should consider the chronic ear infections and constant treatment needed with prescription medications.
I had a Cocker named Isha, she really was a very good dog, gave me the best hugs ever, miss her but at least i know that ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN ❤

When they shed, it’s a nightmare. The fur can found anywhere and everywhere in the house. Grooming and vacuuming is expected to be done often. They need a fair amount of exercise or else they would destroy everything in the house. While they can be hyper, they can easily wear themselves out by running too much and that be can be a tad dangerous.

A friend of mine just came with hers to a bbq party. That doggie was sooo happy to see literally everyone, super friendly, cuddly and affectionate. When it comes to other dogs, quite the opposite
