  1. My mom grew up with cats, but she married my dad who has a cat allergy. Only to domestic cats, not big or wild cats. My dad was in the circus and was around lions and tigers with no problems. My parents met a Bengal and no reaction from Dad! My mom just got a Bengal and is happy to have a cat for the first time in over 40 years!

  2. They are sometimes like a 2 year old toddler on a sugar high so get ready for this cat is not for everyone. They are major climbers so forget having anything on your shelves for they will knock them down and they are little kleptomaniac so do not leave anything lying around. Looks wise they like the Abyssinians and the Egyptian Maus would be considered the super models of the cat world for they are drop dead gorgeous but this should not be the sole reason for getting one and if you have a small apartment then forget about getting one.

  3. Incest started with Adam and Eve. We are all products of incest. 😂😂😂😂😂 rrrrrriiightttt

  4. I've had 2 brother for just over 2 years (just!). 1s a fire, the other's an ice. Their intelligernce is remarkable. 1 has learned the limits of claws in play, & the other restrains his urge to "nibble". Among a myriad other things.

  5. Bangal is a term used to refer to the people of East Bengal, now in Bangladesh. The term is used to describe Bengalis from the east, who are marked by a distinct accent. It is usually assumed that the Bramhaputra-Padma river system is the demarcation line between the Western and Eastern wings of the Bengal region. Wikipedia

  6. I'm considering getting a 2 month old male. I've been reading all the comments. The current owner says they won't scratch furniture as long as they have a scratching pole. I am not convinced. We have an expensive velvet couch and armchair plus expensive speakers in the living room. The fear of having it all destroyed prevents me from getting one. Can you share your experiences?

  7. I have one, she's 5 years old. Take a labrador and a tonkinese, and put that in a miniature leopard. About the attention, that is required, they have to be stimulated by "their" people often. If you want a lazy lap cat this isn't for you at all.

  8. Ugh! Animals are not our playthings, to be engineered until we find a model that suits US. Leopard cats should never have been bred and Bengals should not be bred now. (Open fire!)

  9. I got a tabby x bengal mix by accident because it was listed as a tabby lol, but I love her!!!!

  10. There's this Bengal up for adoption at our local shelter and I'm definitely interested.. I have been thinking of getting a cat that's receptive to training, even walking on a leash and sitting in cars and I feel like a bengal is perfect.. Just starting my research, tho

  11. Bengal is still a very-very-very raw breed. I would not reccommend it to anyone at all. Unless you want a Dark Souls instead of a cat. And Dark Souls is a pretty bad game. But of course, it's not impossible to grow a magnificent creature out of bengal kitten. It's just you would not be 100% sure that you should have strained yourself this much for a pet. Just trust me on this. I have some experience now.

  12. We have a family cat Benji we “love” him but man is he irritating. His meow is more of a yell and anyone that is thinking of getting one of these do your research because they are far more annoying then regular cats. He literally is soo annoying at 4 am this dude will be outside YELLING not meowing, yelling.

  13. Weird how mine is almost the opposite of everything mentioned. Probly has a lot to do with her being rescued from a dark basement hoard. She’s amazing and super chill. Just likes to sit and look out the window listening to birds.

  14. Yep my cat is like that loves to play always need attention super smart and he is also mix with Egyptian Mao another clingy cat breed try to entertain a little rocket who loves to run and explore

  15. We have a Bengal Tabby mix. When it was a kitten its markings were astounding but really didn't show in photos. Markings faded and now the Tabby look is dominant. He is a sweet boy that loves attention and food but remains small and thin.

  16. Incest cats😂😂😂 What did the Leopard cat say during the first time she had sex ? “Get off me dad, you’re crushing my catnip” 😂😂😂😂
