Precious cattle dog you have!♡
My dog is trained to walk on a treadmill. When it's too hot, too cold, crappy weather, or your ill
Liz, your the hero when it comes to dog compassion. Treat them with 100% love!
🤗
Love! Oliver loves to fetch too!
How did you leash train your blue heeler? mine has a freak out and lays down and I end up dragging him
My dog has arthritis and a heart murmur and is pretty old. The vet said he only needs 15-20 minutes of exercise per day, but when I do that he isnt stimulated enough so he gets "mouthy," will try to play rough with my partner and I, or even nip at my heels (he is a cattle dog). He loves running after the ball, but the vet said he shouldnt be RUNNING after the ball so throw it closer. He will run to it whether it is a foot away or 10 feet away. I don't know how to get his physical exercise that isn't too intense without his being too riled up…
You can also teach them how to walk or run a treadmill mine does it all the time
Is there any ACD breeders where i can get myself a ACD puppy
I’m going to be adopting a cattle dog this upcoming wednesday and your videos have honestly been so helpful!! Whether from potty training tips to playing inside!! Thank you so much for these videos!
Beautiful dog… I met a blue heeler puppy last weekend in Australia… So cute. I don't normally see them often. They're one of the smartest dogs too!
Somehow Lou always looks sleepy.
I just love the faces they make. So expressive. I swear my ACD rolled her eyes at me once
Also mental games help tire them out
This video is extremely helpful since I’m gonna get a dog and quarantine is a bit rough at times like these
I like he is so loyal to you.
My little dude would YEET himself off of the stairs. He would go the quickest way possible lol
Oh my gosh, our dogs are TWINS! My blue heeler has the EXACT same coat (markings and all) and makes the same funny faces (like in the video thumbnail). Every other bluey I’ve seen has way more brown, or large black spots, y’know? I can’t stress enough how identical they look!!!
Everyone sees my cattle dog being so calm than wants one. Than I have to explain she gets 4 hours of hard excersise every day or else she is crazy 😂 she loves to work more than anything tho !!
this breed can easily work an 8 hour day and shouldn't get less that 3 hours a day exercise, if they aren't working. if you cant make the commitment, don't get this dog
I like toys that I can chase around the house and they drop either kibble or treats. Fun!
Hi Liz, I have a Blue Heeler in Chicago and actually got mine a DogPacer (a dog tredmill) for those rainy days you described. He absolutely loves in and we do a few miles every morning right when we wake up! He’s 1 now and knock on wood he hasn’t been destructive when I leave for work. I think because of how well-exercised he is from the tredmill!
My wife left me bc I have ptsd and now I need to make it right I left her because I thought I wasn't enough but I was and I hurt my queen. Now I gotta get divorced and win her back but this was a good vedio to stop in with to soothe thankyou
What a beautiful dog
Hi Liz. We just got a ACD and she is 9 months. She is very sweet and is already attached to us. Having trouble getting her to play. No zoomies. It’s Day 4 – I am going to get her a chew toy. We need to train her to come before we can do chuck it. So much to learn. We have a kennel for sleep and when we are away. Any suggestions on play I a fenced in yard welcome.
