Sweet Natalia was brought in as a stray to Long Beach Animal Care Services with a two inch laceration to her front arm causing paralysis.

The Little Lion Foundation picked her up today and took her directly to our vet – Primary Care Animal Hospital – for x-rays and an exam. Her orthopedic veterinarian found that she is in fact paralyzed and it is likely due to her arm getting caught on something and she pulled to escape leaving her nerves lacerated and arm stretched and broken in multiple areas. Unfortunately, she will need it amputated.

Despite the excruciating amount of pain she’s been in, she is the sweetest girl and just wants to snuggle. She loves chin scratches and curled up into her doctor’s neck the moment he pulled her out of the carrier. We know this season is busy for everyone, but if you could spare a few dollars to help Natalia, we would be so grateful. Thank you so much.
