Although they don’t have the 100 milking cows their grandfather had to herd, Bandit is ready to learn herding with the 5 Herefords and already has good instincts. It’s only his 5th time with the cows, and already he circles the cows and keeps them in a group. He’s still a little wild though and running at them too fast, but if we keep control of him, he always listens and comes back, that way we aren’t running them through the fence, or pushing them too fast. Penny is happy to learn from a distance. While they will still need some training, they’re doing good for beginners and certainly having fun. John 3:16-17 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17 I understand that this is random but I want people to know about Jesus and how He is the only way to heaven. GOD is love❤ if you have questions about Jesus please comment . Also I challenge Christian to copy and pasted this message on more videos to share the love of Jesus
Maybe the commands are too wordy.
That bluey is going to get a swift kick to the head.
Nice vid!! My female Blue Heeler is just over 4 years old. Her father’s red, and her mother is blue. There were 6 pups. The four males were red, and the two females were blue; one of which is my Bella. Funny how they’re interchangeable so far as color is concerned; just like Labs! She got her father’s body which I’m happy about; taller and very muscular. She’s not a working dog, but I’d like to put her in with some sheep or goats so she can do what she was born to do. No Cattle. She could get kicked or stepped on since she doesn’t know what she’s doing! Can anybody tell me if she’ll still let instinct rule the day at 4 years old??🤔
@Johnson Heelers nice dogs.
I’m relieved to see that your dogs are not perfect but have a perfect instinct to drive and herd . My dog is not perfect either . I call her my child of god and I love her no matter what 😂
I have a 5 year old Blue Heeler. Lately my neighbors chickens and goats have been getting out a lot. The chickens got out and are in my yard daily ever since they got one new chicken that kind of became the pack leader and he likes to venture off and the rest follow. Before they got him they use to just stay in their yard so I've been letting my Heeler herd them back over the fence into their yard he's getting okay at getting them in the back yard and close to the fence following my direction but when he gets them close he needs to learn more tactical stuff so they don't try to run the opposite direction and they go through all the fence holes they have and not try to run by or around him so he I need to teach him to go slower and how to control the chickens direction more than just chasing them to the fence. So I'm watching videos of Heelers herding trying to learn how to teach him these things. Once he gets good with the chickens. I'll let him try the goats next. Really it's not that necessary to teach him this but he was diagnosed with protein losing nephropathy couple weeks ago and got super sick almost lost him but he's doing much better now and he really enjoys herding and I'm out of other things to teach him he can do every trick in the book he's depressed when he's not working so that's why I decided to do this plus I'm tired of chasing and catching the chickens myself for my neighbor lol.
