Short Saluki description:
Salukis are very thin, but not weak. They have the typical sighthound built – long slender legs, narrow body, deep chest, long tail and small waist. The average Saluki height is between 23-28 inches which is 58-71 cm and weight between 40-60 pounds, which is 18-27 kgs.

Saluki creates strong bond with their family and they are totally devoted to it. On the other hand, they are pretty reserved and aloof with strangers. They are okay with other dogs, gentle with kids and they are very quiet at home. Other household pets, other than dogs, are not safe around Salukis, but there are some exceptions of Salukis living with cats, but they need to be socialized with them from the puppyhood.
