  1. This is the first time I've heard of lykoi. I know cats as rare as blackfooted cats which are not pet animals by any means. You can have tigers as pets but not this little monster. Not sociable with humans at all.

  2. This was really weak. The reasons given for not owning these three breeds were ridiculous!

    Yeah, you shouldn't get a black footed cat because it's an undomesticated wild breed that's endangered and scarce. It's illegal to own one.

    There's no reason not to get a Lykoi. Sure their fur is sparse (a spontaneous genetic mutation) but as for being vulnerable to differences in temperature, take a look at the Sphinx or Peterbald breeds — no fur at all, really! You can (and should) put little pet sweaters on them to keep them warm.

    And as for Burmese being annoyingly chatty, you can get a similar earful from several breeds, including the Siamese, Balanese, Oriental, Main Coon and many others.

    Seriously, this was some really weak, poor content.
