There are some kinds that represent Terriers and one I can think of right now is a Jack Russell Terrier. But on the other hand, I think ‘Fox Terriers are not easy as well’. [(Representing Terriers)] They are the combination of all Terriers. Actually, for this Fox Terrier to be made a lot of types had been mixed. The most famous one is the Dalmatians and of course, Jack Russell Terriers. Like the Jindo mixes in Korea look similar to each other Terriers in Britain look mostly like this and this look was fixed in 1800. They were recognized as a dog type then and were named Fox Terriers. [Fox Terriers are fox hunters?] You can believe that they were mostly fox hunters. Terriers usually hunt mice but these ones hunted foxes instead. That’s how strong [(Unique DNA)] and powerful, hard, smart, and fast they are. And the Fox Terriers have bigger teeth than others. That’s a quite famous fact. Their teeth, especially the canine teeth [(Canine teeth hunting foxes)] are as big as a large dog. They’re probably as big as Jindos. That’s why they’re called Fox Terriers. [Types of Fox Terriers?] They have two types. One with longer hair is called Wire and the one with shorter hair called Smooth. [Smooth Fox Terrier] The one with the shorter hair looks slightly similar to Jack Russell Terriers with short hair. But the main difference is they have longer legs. Their legs are almost as long as their body. [Wire Fox Terrier] You might think their hair is stiff because of their name ‘wire’ but it’s not. It’s quite soft, actually. [(Distinguishing dog hair…)] How can I say, they are like human curly hair? And their hair, compared to other dogs feels quite strong. [Activity level of Wire Fox Terriers?] Firstly when you have a Wire Fox Terrier you can’t keep anything on the dinner table. ‘Our dog doesn’t go up the tables’? Then he’s letting you off. They can jump much higher than you can imagine even as high as fence. And when you see them running around the house, up and down the sofas [Example of Parkour] you know those people who jump from roof to roof they do the quite similar within the house. They run around climbing up and down the wall and suddenly the owner becomes one of their stepping stone to hit and run and jump around. They were born to be sportive. And they have really high play drive. I don’t think any Fox Terrier hates balls. [(Mandu falls in love with the ball.mp4)] Seriously, if you throw a ball into the fire, he would go in. That’s how high their play drive is. That’s why we sometimes come across troubles in winter. You see little puppies in clothes hopping around the places and their eyes suddenly change. I don’t know if they think they’ve seen a toy but they run up to them and scare them. So if you can’t control their play drive they will run around like a broken train and jump up to people or kids. Border Collies are good with the turns [(But Fox Terriers)] but the Fox Terriers are not good with the cornering. So they can go forward but not turn the corners. [Wire Fox Terriers’ diseases] They don’t get sick that often because they are somewhat perfect type. If they are sick mostly it will be about their joints. But generally they are healthy. I’ve seen some with cancer but that’s only in rare cases. [Wire Fox Terriers’ characteristics | Wired hair] This goes same for all those with the wired hair but even without the grooming, they have that hair volume on their face and all you can see are their eyes, ears, and noses. We can see three dots in their face. Two eyes and a nose. Because you can’t see their facial expressions, along with Airdale Terrier and Schnauzer Fox Terriers are famous looking riddling or looking mad about something. And they don’t have that typical tangy smell. Like him or Schnauzers with these wire hair tend to have less odor. Maybe he wants to see what’s downstairs. [How difficult is it to raise a Wire Fox Terrier?] [(Difficulty level: 13)] As difficult as Weimaraners… [Number one abandoned dog type] What level were the Border Collies? Level 12? Twelve? They might be [(When they are young full of energy)] harder than Border Collies for now. [Vicious level of difficulty] But Weimaraners are a real hell so [Level 12.5 out of 10] I’ll give 12.5. [Anything you want to say to those who wants to own a Wire Fox Terriers?] Usually I say this to the owners to the guardians ‘Walk a lot’, ‘Do a lot of walking’ but for some kinds, I say [(First exhaustion)] ‘Let all that energy out’ [(Second exhaustion)] ‘and then do the walking’ and he’s one of those types. First thing is to exercise second thing is to exercise and third thing is to exercise. Not walk but let him exercise. I recommend them to those who can do that.
