It's too cold. Cold water actually will not be absorbed through the stomach lining. You want to drink room temperature water in order to absorb it and be able to hydrate

My cat will only drink water if she sees me take it out of the fridge and pour it out of the bottle. Then she checks with her paw to make sure it’s cold or she won’t drink it and will just stare at me. Smh..
