Finally finally finally invested in a pair of legit hiking boots! Breaking them in on our afternoon walk and taking them out this weekend. Apparently I’ve been hiking all wrong in my Salomon trail runners, which lost almost all its grips on the jagged rocks of San G. The guy at REI even showed me how to tie a proper hiking boot knot.
