did you know that Siamese kittens can change their colors Siamese cats are born all cream or white and their distinct coloration develops when their body drops below 33° C this unique feature is due to a heat sensitive enzyme called tyros but it only works when it’s not too hot inside their mom’s belly it’s pretty warm so when Siamese kittens are born they’re usually cream or white but as they grow up and their bodies cool down certain parts like their paws ears nose and Tails get darker that’s why they end up with a two-tone look light on their warmer spots and darker on the cooler ones sometimes they might even change color a bit depending on the weather or if they spend a lot of time in the Sun
