I’m here for my mystery mut you’re here for your mystery mut okay well we have definitely picked our favorite mut for you turn around and close your eyes this was my first time going in knowing nothing about the dog none of their background this is Sunday they surprised me with a 74 lb retriever mix named Sunday the Muttville staff let me know that Sunday was a 12-year-old retriever she had come from another shelter in the area where she was surrendered after her owner passed away so I knew that she had had a rough couple of weeks although she’s 74 lb she thinks she’s a Chihuahua there is still such a stigma around Senior Dogs that they’re just old and have health issues Senior Dogs need love too because we’ve been trying to find an adopter for her with no luck so far we wanted to do something super special so we took her on a little In-N-Out trip and of course she absolutely loved it

I prefer to adopt senior dogs. They are the best dogs!
Glad she’s not in the shelter. Just a psa for feeding dogs fast food – the fat content is usually too much for their pancreases and the onion and garlic seasonings are toxic. I always get worried when I find out people don’t know that.

One of my family dogs is 14… that dog can run like the wind. don’t underestimate senior dogs! They deserve a chance too

I had a dog who died at 14 years old and he never had health conditions besides the one time that he messed up his foot and he would jump fences run around the neighborhood Senior dogs are just as energetic
We have two senior dogs one 10 year old and a 9 year old sweet dogs and full of energy and love.

Listen. Why do we have to call it a mut. Can we not just call it a dog. Its a dog. A mistery dog. I dont walk around saying my dogs a pure breed. Hes just a dog. Like any other dog. Then once they have the dog tell them if its mixed breed or not.
