  1. The best dog and friend I ever had was a male German Rottweiler. So much so, I couldn’t ever get another dog after he died. I miss him everyday and wish he had stayed with me longer.

  2. It’sgood for kids to have dogs in their lives – supervised of course, it teaches them to think outside their own buble and encourages them to experience more challenging emotions like responsibility, love and loss, this is just my opion and I have had dogs all my life and would never be without❤

  3. My sister and I had a Rott when we were kids. She became a big dog because my dad would feed her leftovers like steak, chicken, pork and whatever else was leftover from breakfast lunch and dinner. She got up to 115-120 lbs. When my parents friends who had a 2 year old girl came over the girl would ride Ginger like a horse and Ginger would prance her around the house and the backyard. It was so funny. This was in the middle to late 80’s but my mom still has pictures of the girl riding on top of Ginger in a photo album. I love Rottweilers and Pitbulls. They are such loyal and loving dogs

  4. Growing up my friend Andrew had this Rottweiler named Missy. She was the sweetest dog ever but ONE day the 12 year old sister (Brittany) of one of our friends tagged along. She started petting her fur in the wrong direction, yanking on her ears, poking her in the head. We kept telling her to stop but she didn't, and Missy snapped and bit her in the face. Her parents SUED Andrew's parents and they were forced to have Missy put down. Nobody ever spoke to Brittany again. At least not in a friendly way. We always told her the wrong Dog died that day. Her family ended up having to move about a year later
